Open Question: Is Black, White, and Grey a good color scheme?

The summer I am going to redo my room. I was thinking I would use black, grey, and white as a color scheme. I currently have a desk-the tops (to hold computer, etc) are glass and then the legs holding it up are black. There is a main top for my laptop and 3 open, small tops on the side. I also have a guitar and music stand, as well as a TV....I love (rock/punk/alternative) music and I am buying a bunch of band posters (Green Day, Courtney Love, etc.) to hang up. I wanted to do this: -Walls: Grey -Bed: White Grey, or Black (we already found a bed and it comes in all colors) It is also a twin bed. -Bed spread: Zebra blanket, black pillows -Chair: Black -Night stand: Black 1.) Is this a good color scheme/idea? 2.) What else should I add to my room? Thanks! ~K. My walls are a beige color, so I don't think I should add a rug...I doubt my parents would let me put in wooden floor panels. -Black curtains I meant that my carpet is a beige color...my mistake! What could I add that is dark red? Should I put a long mirror in my room?
