Open Question: need an easy to apply refinishing product to refinish kitchen cabinets with faded finish?

My cabinets are in good shape but the flat-gloss finish is faded in spots. Is there a specific product you can recommend that can be applied with a cloth...one that is not a finish itself but rather a kind of thinning agent that takes the existing finish on the cabinets and sort of "remelts" it so it can spread over the the worn areas then dry into an even finsih?. Bottom line, I don't want to sand or apply any polyurethane finish with a brush and all the mess, Thx.

I have 2 Brown leather sofas. They have gone a little dull. I was wondering if anyone knows how I could get the shine back to them. I have tried polishing with furniture polish them but the shine soon wears off.
