Open Question: No idea what to design, any ideas?In my design and tech class, our assignment is to design something that can be used for sitting on, or for something to sit in, like say a chair - for a person, or a bowl - for food. But I've no idea what to build. It has to be simple, and I have 6 weeks. Anyone with any ideas would be much appreciated. Open Question: is it a new york city violation to put carpet under/around/touching a floor steam radiator?The city inspectors arecomming on Monday today is Saturday i, I have one of them old floor steam radiators.. is it safe to CUT CARPET RIGHT UNDER IT? Open Question: What's a good name to call a patchwork cushion brand?For home ec at school, we have to design and make a patchwork cushion line. And we also have to name it. What's should I call it. All my designs are kinda floral and girly. Open Question: What color fabric should I use in my living room?The paint below the chair rail is called "theater red" and above the chair rail is called "impressive ivory". I am going for the classic burgandy and gold look maybe with a damask or even a paisley patter. What color(s) shuld I use for the fabric on my furniture and window treatments. Note: I do have a church pew with the theater red/burgandy/merlot color as the upolstry which I am keeping in the room however I can part with the plain burgandy curtains if need be. How can I tie this room up right with the way I have the colors painted on the wall? Open Question: Seaside cottage playhouse decorating ideas?I want to decorate my daughters playhouse in a beach, seaside cottage kind of way. I have light blue and white paint for the outside, light pink for the inside, I need ideas on how to decorate the inside and out. I have lots of access to shells and driftwood, im not quite sure what to do with them though. I have been trying to find ideas online with no luck, maybe im wording it wrong?
