Open Question: If you sleep facing the door...Has this ever happened to you?I moved my room around last week and put my bed facing the door way. I've heard sleeping facing the door gives you nightmares or that it's bad feng shui...so i just said to myself i'll sleep with the door shut. Well anyways the other night i woke up, turned the tv off and opened the door to let some light in...then went back to sleep. Couple of hours later i dreamt of my bed being on fire then woke up gasping for air like i'd just been choked. I have NEVER woken up like that before...Has something like this ever happened to you? Do you sleep facing an open/shut door? Since then i've made sure that my door stays SHUT. Do i need to change my room around again? Open Question: How should I arrange my room?I'm switching rooms so I have a bit more space. I have to include a bed, desk, and a huge bookshelf thing.I want to arrange it so it has lots of room for me to put other stuff in there like beanbags and just a chill out sorta vibe. Open Question: How to construct a bathroom in a ranch?Wat the steps I need to take to get this done? I live in a very large ranch. We have this large room that isn't really used much. I want to split it into a dining room, and a bedroom and bathroom. The existing bathroom is right on the other side of the wall so I will put the bathroom directly on the other side of the wall from the existing bathroom. So, I was hoping this would help the plumber connect the sewer lines. I need pro to do the plumbing & drywall. I will likely install the toilet vanity and hire someone to do the tiles and flooring. It's just going to be a standing shower. What are the steps I need to take to get this started? I don't know any plumbers or contractors Please be specific. Also, what is a good budget for this in Chicago burbs. I don't need anything fancy. By the way there is no basement or crawlspace it's on a slab.
