One person recommended Tough as Tile (http://www.homaxproducts.com/products/kitchenbath/05/faqs.html), though the manufacturer does not recommend it for plastic. Any paint and techniques that would work well? Thanks in advance. Open Question: I have off white walls in all rooms, blue tile in kitchen and oak laminate in other rooms.?I would appreciate any suggestions to get some color into my house. Open Question: How to best remove efflorescence from tile grout?We have new tile grout that has significant efflorescence- it is definitely not just grout haze. I have tried white vinegar, the grout hazer remover, and one brand of remover that says it's for efflorescence. However, none of these cleaners have worked. Does anyone have specific steps or a brand of efflorescence remover they have used and recommend? In addition, could the grout simply be restained if I don't find an effective remover? I was going to paint my kitchen the same color as I have black aged cabinets, creamy tile, and red and turqouise accents. (the color of kitchen now is grey well it looks country blue). My question is my living room is choc. brown. Im going for a comfy beachy feel (like stuff from Pottery Barn). Should I paint the living room lighter? Open Question: Asbestos in popcorn ceiling?my house was built in 1980 so theres a chance there might be asbestos in my popcorn ceiling that is in every room. i noticed there are tiny cracks on the edges of the ceiling, do you think the asbestos can be released from those cracks? i dont plan on remodeling it but should i get it tested? im only worried because i will be having a baby soon. Open Question: How to get rid off white soap scum spots on the bathroom mirror?I have tried using almost everything but no HELP...once the mirror dries up, the white spots are back again...I hate it...I tried using vinegar, lemon with hot water no help again...Does anyone has better solution for my problem????
