Open Question: partition wall and washing machine moving? and more... Open Question: partition wall and washing machine moving?Interested in buying a property (uk, wiltshire), but there at least a couple of jobs to do, and not sure about how much budget to consider for them. Can I have a rough idea of: - how much it can cost to build a simple (just dividing purposes, the cheapest one is fine) internal wall, standard height, approx 7 feet wide, to divide a family/play room into a study and laundry room? Both materials and labour, because I am not diy at all :( -create a new connection for washing machine and tumble dryer in the new laundry room (the current washing machine is in the kitchen, approx. 3-4 metres away) I know that it depends on many factors (esp. the second job) but just an idea would be great! thanks! Open Question: is my down comforter making me sick?i seem to sweat when i use the comforter at night when i wake in the morning it is wet very wet and now i seem to be sick and can't get well is it the comforter? Open Question: Home improvement contract? (Replacement Windows)?Ok I live in the state of virginia and I signed a contract with Long Windows to have my windows replaced I signed a contract with the sales person telling me that all warranties will be lifetime on the window and labor, anyways today they notified me that an 11 foot bow window would not be warranted lifetime and to make it a lifetime warranty they would have to make modifications to my set up i signed a contract under the impression i am getting an 11 foot bow window however now im being told it would have to a different set up, In this scenario I would like to cancel the order because i have other estimates from home depot stating they could install an 11 foot bow there that comes with the lifetime warranty, but the cancellation time period has passed for the contract i signed with long windows and just today 2 days after the cancellation deadline they are telling me i cannot put in an 11 foot bow window. My question is do i have any rights in this situation? I cannot afford legal advice in these tough times so im hoping the yahoo community would be able to help me out on this one i really need new windows in my hose since they are single pane windows which leak a lot of air and have a really tight budget. Please let me know of your experiences and also let me know what my rights are in this situation and what options i do have. THANKS! Open Question: What is the name of the kitchen decorative element where you surround your oven in brick?Wondering is there is a specific name for it. The brick starts at the top of the oven and goes to the roof. In front there is a half circle above the stove, with a brick backsplash. I thought it was called a bistro, but this is not returning results online. A more generic term for it would be a brick enclave around a stove. Open Question: Bungalow with basement thats a walk-out?
