Open Question: Turn grungy basement cute? or even just presentable?So my basement is unfinished...need I say more?? there is a section in which we have a TV, two couches (that don't match, of course), and a chair. For the entire 6 years I've lived here, I have tried very hard to make this room presentable. It's a nice, spacious basement, and I can see some potential, but not without laying down a wad at one home improvement place or another. Are there any suggestions as to easy ways in which to make my icky basement a little more friendly and welcoming?
