Open Question: vintage couture teen bedroom?im almost 14 and thinking of decorating my bedroom in a vintage couture theme. do you think that's too girly? how can i make it more darker. which would go better for wall colors: peach & a champagne color, teal and gray or hot pink and gray. ? i would get black and gray and white furniture. probably metallic and mirrored accessories. i might get some black and white damask print wallpaper for one wall. anything else i could add? Open Question: what is the best way to paint a ceiling?I know to tape off the whole room and then to cut in about 2 inches but do I do the whole parameter of the room with a brush first and then use a roller or do I use a paint brush for a little section and then use a roller and then go and paint a little more of the parameter.... So my question: net net is....Paint the whole room cut in first with a brush and then roll the whole room after.....or paint a little bit with a brush and then roll and do this back and forth? Thank you soooo much...I am sooo lost!! one more question...do I need to hurry up and try to roll it while the paint is still wet after I applied it with a brush to make it look like it was all done together or will it look that way if the cut in dries and then I apply the roller? Open Question: How To Know Which Wall Can I Hack Down From Just Looking At The Condo Unit Floor Plan?I stay in Singapore and I just viewed this condo unit last week and I really liked it. It's just that the living space can be more spacious if the storage room is hacked. Is it possible to find out which wall can be hacked from the electrical, plumbing and gas floor plans? I happen to stay in the smaller unit in the same condo, so I went and saw the drawings/plans in the management office, however they don't know which wall can be hacked and which one cannot. I tried to look for structural plan but they don't have it. Do I need a PE to get this answer? (actually I wouldn't want to pay hundreds of dollars when I'm not even sure I can get that unit). Would a PE be able to advise me by looking at the floor plans or do they need to go and inspect the unit physically? How much would this roughly cost, I know from the forum PE service could cost up to S$500, but would this be the same case and cost? Thank you all for the advice.
