Open Question: Want to remove this blue paint off my plaster walls..can i just paint over it?The walls are a dark blue and I want to paint them back white. The dark blue on the walls now are the only other color they have been painted so can i just paint over the blue or will the blur be too dark to paint over? Open Question: what color should i paint?I am looking to repaint my two exterior doors and would like suggestions on colors. i was thinking a deep blue. the shutters are maroon and the siding is a beige. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rocktheshade/4422766234/ Open Question: Pergo floors and kids and pets?We are looking to put in a Pergo floor in our living room and possibly kitchen. What experiences have you had with those types of floors, and with Pets and Kids? Open Question: Does contact paper damage counter-tops and appliances?I am moving into an apartment in a few months and I'm allowed to decorate in any way pretty much. I'd love to cover the fridge, dishwasher and counter-tops in the kitchen with some style of contact paper. I'm not sure, however, if the paper would do any damage to the surfaces. I'm not concerned with people thinking it's tacky or with leaving a residue; I just want to make sure that there won't be any damage to be taken from my security deposit. Thanks =) Open Question: When installing laminate flooring, should I install it around or below old cast iron radiators?Obviously I will have to remove the radiator and then re-attach it but I am concerned that the weight of the radiator will not allow the floor to expand and contract properly. Would this be an issue or no? More Recent Articles
