Open Question: Wax in a Paint Sprayer?!? and more... Open Question: Wax in a Paint Sprayer?!?I was wanting to spray a coat of wax on some sculptures that I am making. I was wondering if anyone has ever used a paint sprayer (or something similar) with melted wax. I am using a fairly high grade paraffin (with a fairly low melting point), but am not sure if the wax would simply gum up the sprayer. I am trying to avoid a very expensive learning experience. It is very small and we are doing it on a budget. My husband is putting in new kitchen cabinets. They have to be stained being a man , he does not like painted woodwork). the cottage is very dark interior. Even though he opened cottage up by taking some walls out it still needs lighting up. He is not putting wall board up in family room and the paneling in there is very dark and dated. it has rectangles/ squares on it in different shades of wood tone. I would like to paint those squares and rectangles lighter and brighter colors. What do you think or do you have some better ideas. The rest of the cottage is wall boarded and I would love to paint the room in the front colors that would look like a sunrise/sunset. Say start at bottom with a red and middle color an orange and top color a gold or yellow. Blend them into each other as I go up. What color would you paint ceiling? I was thinking of painting bed room a light green color ( not mint). Maybe a sage or chartreuse, The kitchen a yellow with red accents, The bathroom a color to match the rest of the colors in the house. What color would you paint ceilings. They are very low ceilings and it would be nice if I could make them look higher. Also what kind of curtains would you put up to keep an open look to cottage. Does anyone know of a sight I could see something that has been done before to look what I have described here. I would appreciate any help or ideas you may have. Thank You in advance.
