So we finally have a place to practise but its a bit on the small and ugly side (tile floors, florescent lighting), so I'd like to transform it into an awesome looking practice space. I need it to be technical, practical, proffesional, and a comfortable space to be in. (Without spending too much money of course).
We want the frig to match our cabinets and other appliances.

Im trying to make straight horizontal lines on my daughters wall with blue painters tape, but it always seems to go upward or downward when I finish, I just cant seem to get it straight all the way across the wall. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

I'm remodeling the kitchen and using natural maple cabinets. They are made of maple wood, have no stain, but just a urethane finish. Very light color, but popular. Would black or white appliances look better with these cabinets? I'm selling the house, so I don't want to buy expensive (stainless steel) appliances.
