Open Question: What color green should I paint a kitchen with faux brick?

I just bought a house and the kitchen has a faux brick backsplash. The bricks are a brick red color and the mortar is a light gray. The cabinets are white and the countertop is gray. The floor is wood laminate. In a couple years my husband and I will redo the kitchen and remove the faux brick but for now it stays. The thing is, Id really like to paint the kitchen green but I dont want the color to clash with the red bricks. Any ideas on what shade of green would look good?

Open Question: I need to know how much fabric I will need to make curtains?

I have a window, 69 in.x 23 1/2 in., What I'm wanting to do is make curtains that slide, one bar inside the top of the window frame, and one bar inside the bottom of the frame, I hope I'm saying that where it makes sense. Anyway, I've never made curtains before, I know you have to measure out extra width and height, but I'm not sure how much. For the height, please take into consideration that it will be going through two bars instead of just one like normal. Also, any advice on fabrics to use or not to use? It should be pretty durable, it is going to be used in my kids' rooms, 5 of them ages 2-11, so stuff can get pretty torn up. Thanks so much!

Open Question: How should I decorate this room?

I have a comforter/sheet set, but I can't find a bed (as in what the comforter and mattress GOES on), a dresser (6-drawer, preferably), a nightstand, or lights. I want to base my room off my comforter/sheet set, but I really have no idea where to start. Do you have any ideas about websites? Or do you know a certain item that would look good with it? Please help me! Thanks in advance! (: Comforter/Sheets: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=361978&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results Oh, and I'm on a budget, too! I can only spend about $500. If you have any suggestions of similar (but not quite as expensive) comforters/sheets, I'm open to hearing about those, as well! Thanks guys! (:
