Open Question: what colors go well with garnet and tan?im doing garnet on my wall and i would like to do stripes but i have no idea what color i should do for the stripes. i have beige couches with the garnet stripes and other coordinating colors. Open Question: how do I stop paint bubbling in my bathroom?Its obviously caused by moisture as its every time we use bath or shower the paint on the walls begins to bubble. Is there anything I can do to stop this as would love to redecorate bathroom but don't want to spend loads of money on paint etc for it to start chipping and bubbling again. Unfortunately, it didn't have a major feature that the other two did: a decorative brick fireplace. I guess probably 80% of the houses I looked at had that feature because they are all from the same era in the same city (early 50s, pittsburgh pa).. What I'm looking for is a light brick faced preformed fireplace surround with tile or brick on the inside and no insert or chimney or anything. Something pretty to look at or maybe put candles in but not a real fireplace. I've found very expensive brick complete fireplaces but I don't want a firebox or anything. I promised myself that when I got this house I would install one and I have the perfect wall for it, but I can't find one! If it isn't feasible I'll just build or buy a wooden one, but I would greatly prefer brick. Open Question: I painted walls of bathroom in pink flamingo.
