Open Question: how to I decide where to place bathroom lighting for putting on make up?Open Question: Where can I find some translucent plastic panels in the central jersey area?These typically go by the name of 'light diffuser panels' and are typically used for ceiling lights. But I want to create a table top with one of these panels, put a lamp underneath to light up the surface of the table. The problem with ceiling diffusers is that they are textured and never plain...well at least the ones I found. I'm basically just looking for thin, plain translucent plastic panels that allow some light to shine through, and are strong enough to support some weight. Oh, and a local central jersey place is preferred so I can personally make sure it's actually what I'm looking for. Any ideas? Also, the panels should be white. Open Question: Granite counter tops changes colors when wet?Is it normally for granite to change colors when wet? My counter tops have supposedly been "sealed" but they get darker when wet? Open Question: The ceiling light makes the room look awful, is there an alternative?I have a guest bedroom in my house which has an old dome light fixture in the middle of the ceiling. I don't know if it's the bulbs that I put in it or the light or the room itself, but the light it gives off annoys me so much. Everything seems to look yellow and it's almost like it's too harsh and bright and not bright enough at the same time. What other options do I have for single ceiling lights. I plan to put a couple of lamps in the room, but I don't want to do recessed lighting or anything. I know there are different kinds of bulbs and different colored bulbs, so I might try those, but are there different types of fixtures that cast different types of light? The room just looks so ugly in the evenings when there isn't any natural light in there. Open Question: how long does prime dry before starting to paint?how many hours. i have this pink wall i want to prime at 6pm fri and be able to start painting sat morning? do i need more time in between?
