Open Question: What lamp base would I use with an oblong hobnail shade?I bought a great shade from Goodwill recently and then, upon bringing it home, realized I had no idea what to attach it to. It is clear glass, not very big (only about 6 or 7 inches diameter at the base) and not quite a globe (more like a round egg with a slightly pointed top). The bottom looks like it is meant to be screwed on/in to the base. The link below is the closest i could find to it and has the exact same shape as mine. http://www.lorimusil.com/product_images/Lincoln%20inventory%20245.jpg I know this is an old, most likely table lamp shade, and I'll probably have some trouble finding a matching base, but I would appreciate any help or advice nonetheless.
