Open Question: Where can I find a cheap book shelf in the Phoenix/Glendale area? and more... Open Question: Where can I find a cheap book shelf in the Phoenix/Glendale area?I want to buy a black or brown book shelf, that has 5 shelves for storing at least and lengthwise. Something like this: http://www.bookcasesgalore.com/bookcases/standard/ameriwoodaltra6shelfopenbookcaseinmahogany.cfm but not so expensive, I am a young non-working college student so money matters in this situation. Open Question: How can I weatherproof a wooden swing that has stickers and paint on it?Since they don't make princess swings, my husband and I made one for our daughter. We painted a piece of wood, polyurethaned it, put stickers and a paper printout on it, then put Mod Podge over the whole thing. We added a plexiglass top and used silicone to secure it. The problem is that a small amount of water is getting under the plexiglass when it rains and now we need to redo it. I love the look of the bar top resin, but I've read that it yellows quickly in sunlight. Any suggestions? Open Question: What colour furniture with cedar blinds, timber floors and cream white walls? We currently have a chocolate brown fabric corner lounge but are thinking about updating. At the moment the room feels a bit boring/dull to me. The only colour in the room is a wall half full with black frames with white mount board and coloured photographs. Here are what the walls, floors, and blinds look like right now: Floors - http://www.austwood.com/austwood/i/g/homestead_flooring_australian_cypress05.jpg Walls - http://img.hgtv.com/HGTV/2003/01/15/sec404_1b_before_lg.jpg Blinds - http://dialablind.com/wrcven_60CLMD_06.JPG So what colour furniture works best with all that? We cant have white because we have a baby and a toddler so it could get easily ruined. Thanks! Just in case the links decide not to work, the blinds are a cedar venetian, the walls a warm cream white, and the floors are an orangey Australian Cypress hardwood - the one with lots of spots - not sure what theyre called. Open Question: What are some good living room themes?Open Question: How to Hang a Poster on The Wall, The right Way?i've been struggling for years now lol everytime i hang posters on my wall not only that i'm damaging my wall but i'm also NOT satisfy about the way the posters look after a week-they get loose and later they look like newspaper grrr...
