Open Question: Where to get copy of home layout?Open Question: Is this a good idea for my room?I'm re-decotating my room and I don't want a theme. See I like color schemes that the bedding isnt common so I came up with this wierd idea. I paint 2 walls a not-so-dark gray. And the wall in the middle light gray or leave it white. In the middle wall I hang a bunch framed posters and artworks. Since there is a window in the middle im sure it wont take a lot of space.I mean I could get my bedding to nightmare before christmas, then to camoflauge, and it'll match with my room. Is it a good idea? any changes? other ideas? if u have a picture that has nice decorations and ideas. Open Question: How do I install overhead lighting in an old house?I am sectioning off a portion of my living room to create a first floor bedroom for myself. The house is approximately 100 years old and there is no overhead lighting in this area. I would like to install a ceiling fan/light fixture but the ceiling is plaster and there is no access from above to run wiring. Does anyone have any ideas? I thought about creating a tray ceiling and placing can lights around the perimeter maybe? Open Question: acrylic paint on my cooler comes off when bumped or scratched. anything to prevent this so it lasts longer?I bought a varnish spray for acrylic paintings. Is there anything else I could use to make the paint on the cooler last longer?
