It looks like there is some sort of internal quilting like thing going on, since if you fluff it enough, you can get it to go into three columns--the only thing is that one of the three no longer seems to be containing its share of the foam. I have even tried moving the 1/3rd or the 2/3rds where the loft likes to accumulate over by me, but it sneaks away by morning. I'm never really ever cold, since it never escapes too far, but it looks funny and it gets a little too heavy to fuss with when you are half asleep.
