Open Question: Does anyone know the weight of a chubb A90 fire proof cabinet?Open Question: can i lay ceramic floor tiles on top of good condition old vynil ones.?Open Question: What colour should i paint my bedroom?I have a purple carpet and a green, yellow and blue duvet what color should i paint the walls, that would go? Any ideas, thanks ? Open Question: What Should I Do About This? Room Situation..Lol,Help?So..I'm VERY VERY VERY VERY excited about my room..I'm re-doing,re-painting and re-decorating my entire bedroom..And It's almost done,But..I still have a LOT of HUGE stuff left to get over..So,Here's the problem[s]: 1.My mom dumped big ass furniture and clothes in my CLOSET..What the hell!!? 2.There is clothes, pillow, etc. Covering one area of my bedroom floor..And it's a huge mess..But,What am I going to do with the pillow, clothes, and furniture? 3.I have to clean a light WOODEN dresser..Which has cream all over it,{Little sister..UGHH!} Marker all over it..{Again,Annoying sister!!} And baking soda..We don't have much cleaning products in the house...So,I think I'm screwed!! And that is it..For now,Thank you very much if you can help me.. Open Question: Can expensive furniture deals on Craigslist be bug-ridden?I was exploring used furniture (NO mattresses or beds) on Craigslist and was notified by my friends about bedbugs. Having gone through them when in school I don't want to take even 1% risk. But I live in a city not close to any school/university and there's no student community here. So there are deals on Craigslist (for couches/dining sets/coffee tables/dressers) that appear to come from good (read "rich") houses ( though this doesn't qualify for being bug-free ) and are expensive (unlike those $50 a couch stuff) - do you think such people can also cheat by disposing their bug-ridden furniture that looks good for higher costs? I don't want to take any chances but I don't want to be hyper-paranoid and miss out on good deals when someone have to sell their furniture due to genuine reasons (like moving out of city, etc.) Totally new furniture from Beck's or JCPenney's would cost twice as much (so I am talking about higher-end deals here). Thanks in advance! Open Question: Cutting coving around 2 doors that is as nearly high as the ceiling?I'm putting coving up around my bedroom, I've done coving before but what I have now is a cupboard door that goes nearly to the ceiling, what I want to do is cut a small section out of the coving then seal the join with caulk, Also I have my door right in the corner with the small window above it, do I: Butt up the coving to it and put filler in the end so you can't see the gap? Or Cut 45 Degrees off the end and put a small piece in so it finishes on the wall (is this possible) Or is there anything I might be able to do that is better? Open Question: How do u make a room not look so small?I have a small room but im tryin not 2 make it look small...but HOW Open Question: Whats the best way to get the internet into bathrooms?Open Question: Can dining tables/chairs also have bedbugs?I was exploring used furniture on Craigslist and was notified by my friends about bedbugs. Having gone through them when in school I don't want to take even 1% risk. But I live in a city not close to any school/university and there's no student community here and I plan to buy stuff only from good (read "rich") houses ( though this doesn't qualify for being bug-free ) So now I want to know if dining tables/chairs/coffee tables/end tables/dressers (all wooden) too can be inhabited by these bugs just as mattresses and couches? These are items that people don't necessarily sit on (except chairs). More Recent Articles
