Open Question: How do I split a 2 bedroom apartment with a couple?I am moving into a 2 bedroom apartment with my friend and her boyfriend. They are taking the master bedroom which room is the same size but the bathroom is in their room. I will be taking a room and the bathroom is next to the bedroom. The rent is $1550 and they want me to pay $600.00 and they each pay $475.00 each and she will get the carport. If I request another I will have to pay $35.00 extra a month for a parking space. We will share the living room and Kitchen. Does this seem fair? I am thinking they are a couple and we should spit 3 ways. Aprreciate advise before we move out on th 21st. Open Question: How do I unwarp stained wood?I have a 2' x 4' x 3/4" pine lid that i have stained a couple of times and now it has warped before i could seal it. Any ideas on how i can unwarp it without ruining the stain? I have been told to boil water in a pot and put the pot a foot or so underneath it but i'm afraid it will mess up the stain. Open Question: What carpet would suit pink walls?Well the feature wall is a bright metallic pink and the other walls are pale pink, almost white. I don't really want the carpet to be pink aswell because that would be TOO pink. And my mum doesn't want the carpet to be too light because i'm quite messy... haha.
