Open Question: How long does it take to finish a basement?Our basement is about 1400 sq ft and we're thinking of getting it finished professionally. There would be two bedrooms, a large family room, and maybe a half bath. Absolutely nothing special, just walls, floors, and doors. I was thinking of doing it myself, but I have no time whatsoever. Any idea of how long it would take to complete? And while I'm at it, any idea how much this might cost?
