Open Question: variance on the black/white color scheme?

In the kitchen I moved into, I have bright white tile floor, white cabinets, black appliances, black laminate countertops and black 4 inch diamond pattern black wall tile/backsplash with white grout. To warm the room up I have added a buttery yellow wall paper, with terra cotta/earth green accent marks, on the small part in the table space. I am replacing range and would like to replace the countertops with granite/quartz. I'm struggling because it looks like black is my best bet given the existing elements, but I was hoping some other color might work. Any thoughts?

Open Question: Cons of working under the table?

so my friend is sixteen, and just wants to make some pocket money. she said that she'll research the benefits and the cons of working under the table and asked me to help. So, here's the question to you all: what are the cons of working under the table at sixteen? OTHER than that its illegal and that you don't pay taxes? and i ahave noticed that people are making a big deal out of not paying taxes, and yes, it isnt very good, but there are actually plenty of people who arent doing that.one more, one less, what the difference? plus, she's 16, and its not like she's gonna stay in that place for her entire life. She just wants to save up for some stuff. so its like a two month thing i guess? But anyway i dont want to start a damn debate, so just please help by answering the question :) Okay? 'kay! Thank you guys!! :D
