Open Question: Is there anyway of making a matt paint look silk?I've finally found the perfect colour paint for my room, after months of looking. The only thing is; its a matt emulsion. And I'm not so keen on matt, I prefer silk. Is there anyway possible I could make it look less dull and more shiny like silk paints. Or is there anything you can buy to paint over to make it look silk? You're not making sense Open Question: Bedroom decor: Do these two posters look ok together?I'm redecorating our bedroom for the Summer (my husband and I), and it's going to have a kind of beach theme to it, but still adult. We wanted one of the posters to be nude art for above the bed, and the other one I wanted some sort of ocean or beach scene in it, this one would be above one of our dressers on another wall. The bedding and curtains are white, light blue and dark blue. The walls, for now are a cream color but soon to become more of a pale sand color, white trim, right now there are 2 sepia toned posters hanging up. Does any of this look good together?
