Open Question: IS THIS A CRAZY IDEA?i dance almost everyday and wish i was always in the studio to practice so what im doing imoving all my furniture to one side of my room and then getting a big mirror or maybe putting a lot of mirrors beside each other so that its like a dance studio like this JUST SMALLER : http://www.axis-ballymun.ie/_fileupload/Image/axis%20dance%20studio.JPG is this a good idea ? Open Question: Would you use oak or teak flooring for a 1917 Craftsman home?We understand that original craftsman homes used Oak flooring. We'd like to keep the home looking and feeling original, but we love teak flooring. Would it ruin the feeling of an authentic craftsman home to use a warm/medium deep toned teak instead of oak? The teak we're looking at is called Asian Teak and has red tones in it. I try to fit the poster on the center but it looks bad since the frame is too long. Help. I have a family who live next door, they rarly speak, but do have a young child, and whilst I really want to play my lound music, I dont want to disturb them. So far I have not played any music, (Which is considerate) but Im looking at a possible sound proofing solution. This is where it gets complicated. Im looking for a sound proofing sloution that can gaurentee that my next door neighbor wont hear any noise, Im quite happy to pay nearly £1000 for this privlage as I own the house, does any one know of any suitable solutions?
