Open Question: Lighting solution, ceiling hung light without ceiling outlet?I have a very small room and would like to avoid floor lamps, I also don't have any surfaces for a table lamp. So my only option is a ceiling hung light but i have no way to connect the wires because I don't have the (i don't know how to call it) hole with the wires in my ceiling, is there any way I could plug the fixture into the wall outlet and simply hang the fixture somehow? I know sometimes, furniture collections have names but I don't know this one. I've been searching on furniture sites for way too long, and kinda give up which is why I'm asking on here. Jack Open Question: how can i re-do my old wooden bench?I bought a beautiful chestnut-finish wood bench at a garage sale a few years ago.the bench was left outside and looks terrible.the wood is splitting its really dirty and the color is now sandy-ish.it also has some iron work(i think its iron) and its rusted a little. it has 4 beams going across where you sit but they have gotten very frail. when you sit down they bend down are thinning.is there any way i can fix this disaster? plz help also will it cost alot for a DIY project? help!
