Open Question: Limewash - can I use powdered lime instead of putty?

Its for the inside of an outbuilding with high ground outside. Were told lime wash was best option and it was great - dosent blister or come off. But I need to re apply now, and cant source the putty locally in a small quantity. Will mixing the powder (building lime) be much of a compromise? Also I was thinking of adding uni bond/pva to the water to make the finish a bit tougher. Will it just take a little longer to go off? Thanks

Open Question: I'm thinking of a career in interior designing but.....?

Im really good with colours and laying things out such a furniture etc. It all started when my mother was selling her house and it was dull and shabby and i turned it into bright and summery fashionable cottage house. Its really amazing what i did. To be an interior desinger i think you need to be good at art and im not so what do i do?

Open Question: How can i decorate a BLUE bedroom?

The blue is much like the colour on the "Answer Question" button on your screen but a tad darker :) My mum has just got this rental house and my designated room is a nasty blue colour lol.. The room is medium sized and had two small windows, one on one wall and another on another. How my room looks is very important to me since it is like my "base" i'll have my green tree frog glass tank in there which is very pretty with lush green plants and water, so that might be a design point? What are the general things colours and themes that go well with this colour blue, what i can do to make such a BOLD blue room look pretty - feng shui or what ever x) Thank you!
