Open Question: My living room walls were white.. but now they are yellow my stepmom smokes, how can i get rid of the stains?i hate having people over ,she started smoking outside, but went back into smoking inside, I'm tired of the way it looks, and she WON'T stop smoking, so what are something i can do to get rid of the yellow stains? Without repainting? And some follow up's every month? (I'm the child, they wouldn't let me go out a get paint to repaint) Also, the paint is very cheap, and comes off if you scrub too hard thanks! and I know, it truly is sad.. Two hours later (according to the instructions on the bottle) I rolled dark blue paint over the base. It cracked nicely. However, after it all dried, there are shiny spots here and there. My loving husband, thought that it would work well to just touch up the shiny spots with the light blue paint and do the process all over again. We did that yesterday. Now there are streaks and shiny spots and plain flat spots and I feel SICK!!! Help. What can I do without breaking the bank? I don't really want to paint the walls all over again.
