Open Question: painting my room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?ok. im trying to find out colors that would make my room more "me". right now its dark purple, light purple, and hot pink lol (i went through a phase for 4 years. i was trying to make it hannah montana themed...) now that im more grown up i want something different. im 14, btw. i want colors that ill love and wont want to change for a long time. as i said i want it to be more me. here are some things about me that might help me... i love the rain and i love to read/write. im very calm but sometimes i can be out of control. my favorite colors are purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, white, and red. music is my life. i have it on 24/7. i love shopping. i love anamals. my favorite quotes are "sometimes you have to be apart from the people you love, but that doesnt mean you love them any less. sometimes, it makes you love them even more" "peace. love. music" "we all have multiple sides to us. who we are, and who we could be if we follow our dreams" ummm... yea. haha :) that should give you a little idea about who i am. ps. also, my room is pretty small so any tips on how to make it better would be much appriciated! :D Open Question: Mixing design styles with my boyfriend?My boyfriend and I are moving in together in 2 weeks and we have completely opposite styles. I'm from the south so my style is vintage, pretty, classic. He's from the city and very punk rock- black and red and acid green. Posters, checkered bed spread, leather. I'm afraid our place is going to look insane. How do you mix these styles together? We aren't allowed to change the carpet but we can change the walls- if the color is mute enough. I am really uninspired when it comes to decorating such a boring place. Any ideas?
