I need to know if anyone has done this and if so, how did you make it so the the gauges can be read? Does GE provide replacement stickers for the face plates of the stove, microwave, and fridge? Please Help! Open Question: Indie/Vintage design?I've recently moved into my own apartment. I look it up and find that you need a license, liability insurance, worker's comp insurance, etc.. Is it really that complicated just to paint the inside of someone's house? There is one that has been hung up in my closet cause i want to keep it and dont want it on the wall. However, i dont know what to do with my paramore and new moon poster. I have the original twilight poster but its like on canvas so it doesnt look like a poster, so im keeping that up somewhere. Then i have an original rent poster from when i saw it and thats kind of slapped new york style on the wall above my makeup stand and mirror. I have two framed posters about 16x20 and a long (length wise, not height) canvas picture of new york city. im trying to redecorate my room to make it more kind of chic and fashion or whatever but idk what to do with my posters. please help! Open Question: What color(s) should I use in my daughter's room? details...?So we have a lot of pink stuff for her room, some can be painted. And I orginally wanted to do a country/chabby chic room that was like a dusty sage and a dusty rose color. I plan on painting all of her furniture white or off white. The furniture is that style.... That is like off white furniture with gold painted details and gold hardware. I cant seem to think of the name for it... Our home style is country/chabby chic, I have a lot of blues in everything. I Just cant decide for her. Hmmm what random details would be useful for inspiration... She is 1 year old, room needs to last, want to stick with coutnry/chabby chic, she loves to explore, she is shy, she is absolutely gorgeous, long (for her age) brown hair, brown eyes, pale skin, very smart, very curious, bright colors are a big no, loves dogs and cats, likes to wear around jewelry, I would like to combine natural elements into the design and earthy colors like brown, white is a must, i hate modern style with a passion, we live in montana, antiques are wonderful, cartoon themes are tacky to me unless it's really old stuff.... Some of the color ideas i'm toying with, a pale yellow or something similar... OR just white and brown with touches of color (not sure what color lol)... OR rusty blues, light blues... OR yellow, dusty peach, dusty sage.... I am so confused! Greatly greatly considering getting rid of all the pink crap and painting what I can!!!! So sick of pink. And it just... doesn't seem like her... unless it's subtle... Open Question: do you have to put white paint before you actually start painting your room?my dad said you dont have too but i think you do even my mom thinks so.
