Would like to know which is more cost effective and more durable. No children or pets in the home. Sadly, the glass inserts have brass in them. We do not have the $$$$ to replace the glass but are looking to improve our curb appeal......should we buy brass accents like kick plates, outdoor lights, mailbox, numbers....or should we ignore the brass and go with a different finish...like black wrought iron or copper....any suggestions?
