Im moving to a new place and the rest of the house has white walls. Theres a cream coloured carpet, that could, if completely necessary be changed. But its best to keep the carpet. I don't have any furniture yet. My bedding will be mainly blue, purple, orange and pink (don't ask, it looks cool). The walls right now are white, and I would be ok with keeping it, but it would be cool to have a colour. I really don't want to have pink walls. Their pink now, but it limits me with decor. Thanks for the help! Open Question: Contractors License?I plan on going to school for interior design and architecture. My concern is that I dont want to be one of those pathetic women on HGTV who hire everyone to do work, including hammer work. I want to be useful, and strecth my name from designer to renovator and maybe even handywoman ;). But anyway I am confused about the process. I want to I guess be considered as General Contractor is this right? I am confused on if this is right, do i need to get carpenter, painter, tiling, etc seperately and then apply for a contractors license? Or do I even need a contractor licence? Basically my question is if I want to be qualified to actually paint, remodel, retile, rewire, etc, all in one, what do I have to do?
