Open Question: What colours should I use for my new, small, bedroom? and more... Open Question: What colours should I use for my new, small, bedroom?I've got a big family, so I'm moving houses. I'm stuck with the small attic bedroom because I told my mum I don't want 2 share with any of my siblings. Anyway I'm 15 and I was struggling to decide what colours I should paint my walls and what colour carpet I should get. I don't want anything too bright n I don't want anything too dark n I don't want too much of a contrast between the colours. Anybody got any ideas. Also any tips on how to make the room look bigger?? Open Question: how much does chemical carpet cleaning cost?I have read and heard that chemical carpet cleaning is much better for the floors and carpet pads, leaving no possibility for mold to grow. Then, we were thinking of brown walls ( not muddy colour but a medium). Then I would get a vibrant orange lounge chair of some type and addcolouful pillows. Thanks in advance Open Question: Decorating with a corner fireplace?I'm having a lot of trouble decorating our living-room, I want to be able to see the fireplace AND the tv which has its own entertainment center so mounting it on the mantel isn't really an option... The room is rectangle and not over large or small, the main problem in that the fireplace is in the corner and not "caddy cornered" like most in the corner i've seen, it faces the room long ways and is flush against the wall.
