Since the edges are finished, I was hoping I could cut the edges of one of the 5" sides on both rugs, and place them side by side- so you could not tell where the seam was. Thanks! Open Question: How much should this brick masonry work cost?I want to relocate a 42"x13"x18" (part of it is covered, under ground) brick and mortar step to another location. I need to know around how much a typical brick mason would charge for breaking down the bricks and mortar and making a new step out of it. I want the same size and layout just in a different location. There is no concrete base, I would want the step half buried as it was before. I can't simply move the step because it is very old and the mortar will crack and break apart. (I attempted it once and learned the hard way.) Thank you for your help!
