Open Question: How should I tile my bedroom and kitchen?I'm considering tiling my bedroom and the kitchen as a nice surprise for my mom this Summer and would love to know some advice on tiling myself. I'm going to use the type of tile that has the glue stuff on the back already and you just have to pull off a paper and place it down on the floor for it to stick. Could anyone help me with some questions about tiling? - With the type of tiles I'm using, will I have to remove the old tile in my home? - What do I use to cut the tiles? Is there any specific tool that I could purchase? - Have any tips for tiling to so I can do a better job?
