Open Question: Any builders out there?What do you call the fake beams (I don't know what kind of material these beams are made of) but believe this type of look is used in ski lodges, the real ones are made of wood, smooth or rough cut maybe 10" wide by 5" thick you nail them to the ceiling of a room, nailing them 6' or so apart from each other, running the full length of the room. You can paint/stain them, leaving the ceiling/sheetrock exposed. thank you Open Question: My kitchen ceiling artex is starting to bubble?What is causing this and how do I stop it?
