Open Question: Bedroom color scheme help? Open Question: Bedroom color scheme help?Hey guys! I'm looking for a little bit of help picking out wall colors for my bedroom.. I want to do an accent wall - the first wall you see when you walk in, with the only window. I'm thinking a burgundy, or deep raspberry, or some other rich, purple-y red hue for that - something a little bit luxe, but not too grown up? (A slight gloss to the paint finish to help with that.) Then the three other walls.. well, I was thinking a dark gray, but I'm having some difficulties. First off, my bedspread is zebra, traditional black & white. Second off, I want to use gold (a metallic-y, shimmery shade) as one of my accent colors : Maybe some pillows, sheets, handles on furniture, insides of my shelving, etc. So my problem is picking out a paint color for the remaining three walls - something more neutral, so it's not too overbearing, but it has to flow nicely, yeah? I'm a teenager and I'm kind of the eclectic, artsy type, if that helps with the scheme.. Oh, and all my furniture's white (: So I'd love to hear your color suggestions, or any other suggestions, like other (besides gold) accents that you think would look cool/nice/different/etc. If you could post actual color samples, that would be completely lovely.
