Open Question: Carpet to wood flooring? and more... Open Question: Carpet to wood flooring?I have a room that is 20x20 ft and I want to make it wood flooring. Right now it is this weird carpet. And where would I get someone to do this. Open Question: Purple/ Lime green bedroom?So i'm 15 and I really wanna redo my room and make it purple and lime green. I'm having the hardest time finding a bedspread with these colors, ive looked just about everywhere and every website. help please?

I have a drop ceiling, can i save up my empty paper milk cartons and start adding them above the drop ceiling tiles? would i need to put something in the carton? are the cartons flammable? any other ideas. (besides asking her to be quiet, cuz that don't work, and i'm not moving either). So I need practical and inexpensive way to insulate that drop ceiling to buffer the noise upstairs. Open Question: I have a large basement with light colored engineered wood. What color walls would look good?Open Question: How worried should I be about asbestos in my ceiling tiles?We have a house built in 1967 and had to take some ceiling tiles out of the basement to inspect the plumbing and joists. The kids' playroom is down there. It didn't occur to me that they could be asbestos tiles until well after we had done this, and my children watched as we did. They were white 12x12, stapled to furring strips, interlocking tiles, very friable, with brown (looks like paper) inside, cross section. The white surface is textured slightly, looks like a fabric weave type texture. They did break apart, very fibrous. Not a lot of obvious dust. I am going to get a test once we can get out (snowed in) but I was wondering how likely it is that this type of tile is asbestos containing, and what type of asbestos is most likely? How much should I worry? Open Question: My door to my room has nothing on it.
