Open Question: French Doors or Window in Bedroom?

Open Question: French Doors or Window in Bedroom?

Open Question: French Doors or Window in Bedroom?

I'm about to put a bid in on a one bedroom condo. It is on the first floor of a gated, 12 unit complex in a decently safe area. The dining room/living room has French Doors that lead into the main, outdoor communal area. In the master bedroom, there is a lovely, double paned window. However, the seller was planning on putting in French Doors, that would lead to a back walkway. I would most likely have some plants and a grill in this back area. However, for security reasons, I'm wondering if French Doors would be a good idea in the bedroom. I should also mention that the Dining Room/Living Room French Doors acts as the only light source in the main area. If I also had French Doors in the bedroom - there would be no windows, just French Doors. Just wanted some opinions...To get French Doors...or to not get French Doors?
