Open Question: Going to re-decorate bedroom...need opinions/ideas!? and more... Open Question: Going to re-decorate bedroom...need opinions/ideas!?I have a fairly small rectangluar room. It's currently lilac themed at the moment. I've wanted to change it for a while and was thinking of a cream colour with a chocolate brown, and paiting 2 walls with each colour. I've noticed a lot of teal/brown/cream cushions and bed covers so was thinking to maybe bring that colour into the mix too, but not walls just accessories, and buying some brown leather drawers of some sort. Then finally, putting down a darkish laminate flooring and buying a rug to match. What do you think? Good? Bad? Or have anything else to suggest?? Would appreciate the help! Thanks! Open Question: My room is painted blue/light blue, what colour curtains do you think I should get?the rug is multicoloured, it's black with beige and blue patterns. everything else is neutral Open Question: Would RIT dye be safe to use on my pillow shams?I've looked virtually everywhere for pillow shams in the exact color I want and have had no luck, so I'm not considering just dying the ones I have. I've never used RIT before, and am concerned it could destroy the fabric. Also, are the chemicals in the dye unhealthy? I have a small health problem and am more sensitive to chemicals now.
