I just painted my room with regular interior latex paint. It feels dry 10 min after painting. But I wonder how fast a latex paint can dry so that I can wipe the surface with damp cloth? Also, I want to drill a hole in the plaster ceiling. There will be a lot of dust come down from the ceiling when I drill the hole. I want to make sure I waited enough to let the paint dry so that the dust won't stick to the painted surface permanently. I want to make sure I wait enough so I can clean the painted surface with a damp cloth. How long it takes before the paint can be totally dry ? Thank you so much!
