Open Question: How to section off the living room for privacy?

Hi, I am moving into a new house renting out the living room. I was wondering what I can possibly use to section it off so I get complete privacy, or as much as possible. I know sound proofing will be pretty hard, so I'm not expecting too much on that, but I just wanted some ideas on how to section it off in details if you can! All I know/heard of is putting a curtain across or stacking up boxes. But how exactly could I do that? It's just plain walls, nothing to attach the pole for the curtains on. All I have to section off is one side of the living room, the rest three sides are walls. Thanks!

Open Question: What is a good choice for a room separator for a nursery?

My hubby and I are living in a one bedroom apartment until we can afford to buy a house. Our bedroom is huge and we have a lot of free space that could be used. I am now 15 weeks pregnant and ready to start buying furniture. However, I hate to just scatter the baby's things all over the bedroom I think it would make it look very cluttered so I was curious if anyone could tell me some ideas to make a nursery separate from our bedroom. Thanks so much :)
