Open Question: I'm having a garage sale and need tips? and more... Open Question: I'm having a garage sale and need tips?I'm having a garage sale in a couple of weeks and am donating the proceeds to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. I live in a pretty nice area and was planning to do a neighborhood garage sale. But I don't really think my neighbors are the "garage sale" type. There has only been one garage sale in the 3 years I've lived in my neighborhood. How do I attract as many customers as I can? I was planning to slip some reminders under my neighbors doors, since it is raining and I don't want my posters to get wet. Is this a good idea? Also, a lot of my neighbors have kids so about 80% of the items are childrens toys, games, and clothing. I have a couple of kitchen applainces and tools, but not many. Is this okay? Also, how should I price my items (used clothing, books, kitchen appliances, toys, basically I'm looking for a pricing sheet) and how should I organize the prices (color coding, labeling, etc). Thanks in advance! Open Question: Wall and Floor Register Question? Can wall register spring clips be added to floor registers so they can be used on walls? Ta Open Question: How can I fix up my bathroom lighting without replacing the fixture?I live in an apartment in which we cannot replace fixtures n' stuff. The lighting in my bathroom is hideous. It has a long metal panel on the wall above the mirror with three light bulbs screwed into it. CFL bulbs aren't exactly pretty to look at. Is there something I could get to kind of cover the thing up with? I think it's the silliest thing ever! Who want to be staring into three lightbulbs anyway? Open Question: Can I cut mirror tiles with a wet saw?I want to get these mirror tiles-http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xgq/R-100554619/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053 I have one of those little red wheel glass cutters, but from what I've read they don't work that well... I have a wet saw, but wasn't sure if it would splinter the mirror. Has anyone tried? Is there a certain blade you can purchase (diamond tip?) that would work? I'm cutting a decent bit of them (about 30-40), so if there is a fast, good way to do this, I really want to know. Thanks!
