Open Question: A way to cover up the bottom-half of a raised air bed?

Hello, I have a raised air bed that works very well (Eddie Bauer Raised Airbed, Queen-sized). The bottom-half shows up though and it makes it less "fashionable." I was wondering if people have methods to hide the plastic part that shows (because it is a raised airbed and thus doesn't need a mattress frame or anything). Here is what it looks like (Target's website): http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/192-4034705-7347843?ASIN=B000XSSMU4&AFID=Froogle&LNM=B000XSSMU4|Eddie_Bauer_Raised_Printed_Indoor_Air_Bed_Queen&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=B000XSSMU4&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001 I'd like to make my bedroom look nice and I feel like this cheapens it ;-). Thanks for any advice that you can provide! ~Patrick Sorry, the URL turned out weird. I decided to convert it into a tinyurl: http://tinyurl.com/raisedairbed

Open Question: Where to buy acrylic drawer organizer?

Hi! I am looking to buy acrylic drawer organizers of various sizes that a friend of mine has, but she can't remember where she bought them. I was sure I had seem them on the Container Store's website but now can't find them. There are other plastic ones, but I would like ones that are "seamless" (for lack of a better word). I have provided a link to two photos I posted of it on Photobucket. One important aspect--these are very thick, about 1/8 of an inch, and thus very sturdy. I have bought many plastic containers in the past and they have generally been quite thin and breakable. Any help/suggestions for a good store or preferably a website to purchase something similar would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance :) http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv78/SaraCCESI/Acrylic%20Organizers/acrylicbox1.jpg http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv78/SaraCCESI/Acrylic%20Organizers/acrylicbox2.jpg

Open Question: what color curtains would match my teal walls?

I'm going for sort of a boho/victorian look. My walls are behr's teal zeal. I found this great bright pink victorian mirror and have a quilt that is teal, pink, purple and a yellow gold (with light yellow, orange, maroon and blue patches). My carpet is tan and my furniture oak. Specific curtains would be great, too. Preferably on the cheap side!!!

Open Question: Help! Daybed or Futon?????

Hello, We currently have a small back room in our apartment (rental) we currently keep as storage. We would like to "temporarily" convert it into a guest room. Temporarily since we are planning on eventually using the room as a nursery down the road. My question is in this case should I get a DAYBED or a FUTON? I live in NY and have no idea what to get or where to get it. My budget is no more than $300.00. Thank you!

Open Question: Drywall over glued/nailed acoustical tile?

We are refinishing a basement ceiling that currently has old 12" x 12" acoustical tile glued/nailed to furring strips that are secured to the floor joists. The furring strips seem to be secured well, however the tiles are in so/so condition - some of the tiles are warped (sagging in the middle, but mostly "pulling" away at the edges where they're fastened to the furring strips). My question is, can I use 1/4" drywall directly over the tile, securing it every 12" on the furring strips/joists? I have been told to also apply glue to the backs of the drywall. Will the 1/4" material be enough to "flatten out" and hold any warping tile as I screw it into the furring strips? (The acoustical tile is lightweight almost like fiberboard). Will the drywall sag even though I have furring strips every 12"? I'd like to go with the thinnest material possible because the ceiling is already only 7'-0". Should I go with 3//8" or will it not make much of a difference?
