Open Question: I hate pink, but for some odd reason i have a sudden urge to paint my room pink.?My mom and friends want me to paint it purple, but i dont really like purple all that much. And my room is currently lime green and at times can be over powering. But i really dont like pink. And for some odd reason i have a strong urge to paint it pink. How im wanting to do my room, i think pink would look the best. I dont know what color to pick though. So some advice would be helpful! thanks! Open Question: What is the cost for the removal and installation of a bathtub tile wall surround?I would like to have tile around my bathtub removed and replaced. Open Question: how expensive is it to put a small gas fireplace insert in, with gas lines?I have a small fireplace, but it is drafty and useless. I would like a more useful heating source. We were without power for 6 days this winter, so looking to something not needing electric,,,thanks OH, are there any that use propane? I think a neighbor has just put one in and has a "tank" outside. I don't really know them well, or I'd ask....I just thought gas would be cheaper than a pellet insert...not sure. Thanks Open Question: Best way to grind concrete wall seams? This is an inside basement wall below ground ... I recently, had a 7' non-structural crack sealed as it would rarely seep water, but was nuisance when it did. Basement is now dry & I wish to paint 2 walls. Issue is ... every 2 feet there is a seam left behind from when the foundation was poured. I would like to grind down these seams prior to painting the wall. I am considering a 7" right angle grinder with a diamond cup wheel & grinder hooked to a Shop-Vac. Will this do it or is there a better safer way? Of course I understand I will need to wear proper Eye, Ear, Nose protection etc. However, any guidance on best way to get this done is welcomed.
