Open Question: Need help with cleaning a hard wood floor !?Okay this may be a very stupid question but I am buying a house I found it yesterday , the problem is that it needs ALOT of work ! It has hard wood floor but the ppl who where in there before were not very clean and there is what looks like gum and other nasty spots on the floor. What is a cheap or easy way that I can get this off the floor with out harsh chemicals or using a buffer ! I have to pretty much do this by hand ! Thnanks 3 hours ago - 4 days left to answer. http://www.nicamaka.net/images/SiamBedNe… that is the format i want for my bed with the curtans but maybe in gold and red the hollywood colors! 3 hours ago Open Question: Council are not likely to change my bath now, can i buy my own from a store?i live in a council apartment , not to far away i had my bathroom rejuvinated by the council and brought up to ' their ' standards - all together im not at all happy with my bath or the shoddy work done.....very cheap work. ive complained and complained and got nowhere , firstly for a fine AIRLINE CRACK in my bath under an inch long , near the metal handles , a bath doctor called out the other day and covered the crack somehow. more recently , the plug in my bath, when plugged in and i fill it up with water, it drains water out slowly by many inches after an hour . the coucil and building company who did it are being uncooperative and stubborn about calling out to fix these problems. the council said they will get me a new plug for the water draining problem. ive deceided after this that im gonna go ahead and buy my own bath, from a bath shop or wherever , save up for it. choose a bath I LIKE. i want to know , would most shops, stores actually fit the bath for you as well as just sell it ? im not at all diy minded and couldn't do it myself , or even install bathroom cabinates. and im really determined i want to get this done , do you think it will cost me too much trouble wanting to get my own bath in a council flat ? i doubt the council will change the bath for me now. will the council refuse me wanting to buy my own bath from a bath shop ? The swatch looked like a light beige, but it has turned into a bright peach color. It looks horrible. I tried to sponge paint it with the color and a bit of white, but it is still horrible looking.
