Open Question: My nightstand is too short!?I just put risers under my bed to increase storage space, but now my nightstand is too short! Does anyone know if they make platforms or something of the like to raise up nightstands? I have a very open floor plan, in which 400 of the 440 sq. feet of the first floor of my house is only separated by a oak/pine bar that is half the width of the floor. Either way, I don't know how to go about painting the place, whether I should paint the front half (living area) one color and paint the other half (kitchen/dining) another color, but feel that it would look thrown together and not-so-good. The walls are white with green window/door trim, oak hardwood floors, oak staircase (you get the picture). I want a change, but would like some other opinions on what would go well with all of this. I also don't want it to collapse under my weight. All the ladders I can find are either metal and made for painting or kitchen step-stool types or ladder-shelves that aren't meant to hold humans. Any shopping ideas? Open Question: Ugly blue carpet, what do i do?The color : http://www.classicchaircovers.com.au/images/blue-carpet.gif I dont want a calm breezy room, i wanted a zebra print with some pink. But blue reminds me of calm. I want something poppy and exiting, also i have to pick out a wall color. Im reallly nervouse, also my sister already picked hawaiin theme. Idk what to do and im already having my parents take down my wall paper, and a new carpet would we way to expensive they said. Please tell me a theme you would think i would like and maybe even a wall color. (i already had a butterfly room and flower.) I want something more teeny, not kiddish.
