Open Question: Bed 101: please let me know what a bed consists of?like the platform, what is that. I want to get a bed online but the descriptions are pretty hard for me to understand. as I am young and looking for a good deal, i want to know I am getting what I am looking for. I've had the same bed my parents used for over 30 years. it has rails and just a steel frame ( I believe that what is is ) so I have to use boxspring and the top matresses and the head board. however, I would like a wooden bed without having to use a boxspring , so what kind of bed would I need? I want the opposite of the bed I've had to use ALL my life.

The problem-Everything is Honey Oak (which I'm not wild about); doors, trim, cabinets, baseboards. I am not prepared to refinish all of the exsisting wood, so I plan to stick with the oak. What floor would look ok next to honey oak baseboards? Maybe a verigated floor that has a little honey color here and there? I just don't know. Open Question: Teen room decorating ideas?I know someone that is about 15 years old, and they are redecorating their room and asked me for help. First of all, they need new bedding. They are trying to have a more mature room. Their bedding is hot pink, and little girlish. They want something more modern and mature. And they need that to be under $100 (everything for the bed, so maybe a bed in a bag set) Secondly, they want something on their walls. On their closet door, they have magazine collages. She has several picture frame collages hanging up and an expo board and a calendar. But she feels like something is missing. Any ideas for wall hangings? Or maybe those peel & stick wall things. My family and I are selling our house and when we move, I will get a hopefully blank room. I can't paint it any exotic colors. Even though I love green. The walls can be white, off white, eggshell, light tan, or a medium tan, any light colors really. I want to do my room in like a teal color, green, and brown. I am open to any suggestions.
