Open Question: Question regarding connection of a AC Machine?I would like to have a connection for a 1.5 Tr AC Machine in my flat. My contractor says that the electrical line which came from the Main Box to my flat is of 4 mm Wire; hence I need not to have a new direct line for the AC right from the Main Box. Rather the AC can be easily connected from the DB of my flat itself. According to him, 4 mm Wire is good enough to take the load of the AC. Therefore, one additional separate line right from the Main Box is not needed. It has no extra advantage, and will cost more. Please help and suggest. Open Question: Polyurethane over latex paint?Im looking at painting a couple peices of well used furniture, namely a set of bed-stand end tables and maybe a bookcase. Ive had amazing results with minwax polyurethane directly on wood, and was wondering if i could achieve the same kind of thing on a regular ppainted finish. If this wouldnt work, for whatever reason, is there anything else you could recommend as a "sealent" to the paint? I will be putting cold drinks on it and getting just a lot of general use out of this furniture, so i need something that will be more resistant to wear than your regular paint tends to be, while im also certainly not looking to spend a lot of money on high end paints for furniture thats not worth anything. Not stabilised?Open Question: The outside rug neighbors?The neighbor in next door apartment has a piece of carpet in front of the door, it is rough cut with jagged edges, dirty and badly stained. I purchased a carpet sample cheap and placed it in front of my door, should I toss the neighbors door rug and place a carpet sample that looks like mine in front of thier door as it would be new yet not as large. Or place it on top of their rug and or roll thier rug up and leave by door or just leave neighbors rug alone.
