Open Question: What color to paint my room?

Ok, my question is what should i paint my room? I want yellow. There are two yellows from walmart i like. Bannana Peal or Lemon Spritz. Tell me why or why not to pain room yellow. Or a different color i should paint it. Also include a bedspread that will look good. Thanks & details about me and my room ME-13, i hate pink, not really a girly girl, black and white bed spreads look nice with colorful walls i think ROOM-oak wood floors, some white shelves, oak wood dressers, not huge room

Open Question: wood floors...want to show them off. and our kitchen floor!?

my mother is in a 1970s mode..shes in her 80s and covered our beautiful hard wood floors with carpet. i started in the halls and pulled up the carpet and underneath were well maintained flooring. i want to put a polish on the floor and dont mind getting on my hands and knees to do the work. can anyone recommend a good floor polish [ not mop and glow ]. the flooring is a honey color and if the polish has a little color to enhance ..all the better. why people are armoured by carpet i will never know. also our kitchen has Italian tile..you think there is hard wood under the flooring...the home was built in the 50s and i worry that the original floor is asbestos on-top of the wood. i hate to ruin the tile when i think there are at least two floors over the wood. and i think the first tiling is a green asbestos deal popular in the 50s.our kitchen looks like the 'brady bunch' home when remodeled in the 70s and yes..we have burnt orange counters...is orange returning in style?

Open Question: Techniques to get rid of paint fumes/fresh paint smell in a room?

Besides airing out the room, using candles to burn out the scent, having a bucket of water in the room to absorb the smells, and having a bowl or cup of vinegar in the room to absorb the smells...are there any other techniques? Would burning incense help or just mask the smells? Thanks
