The trouble is, the walls are thin as can be, and noise travels through them easily. We asked about doing some serious soundproofing with green glue and such to the shared walls, but we cannot make an permanent alterations to the unit under the terms of our lease. So short of taping comforters to the walls, what can we do? Open Question: HOW DIFFICULT TO DRYWALL A BASEMENT CEILING?Open Question: Re-Doing My room? Open Question: Need help choosing a color for my living room walls!?I have chocolate brown microfiber couch and love seat. My carpet is a beige color, and my walls are white. Ughhh!! I am going to paint the walls and get some curtains and throw pillows. I love greens and blues with brown but I don't know how to tie them together. I thought about painting the walls a blue grayish color, but I thought that may be too bland. (Unless I did a light color on top of the walls, and a darker color on the bottom, but I thought that may take too much work) If I did the blue-gray walls how would I then tie in green accents? Help!! Or should I just do beigey walls?? That just seems to bland for me. I want a pop of color and for it to look great! Help pleaseeee.
